Villa a schiera in Alatri

The cluster lies in the Sacco valley below the Ernici Mountains. Alatri itself has a substantial historic centre and is known for its polygonal cyclopean walls and the acropolis. Within this area are the hill towns of Veroli and Ferentino, both with intact old centres and major churches. The nearest larger town is Frosinone, which provides the full range of services and rail links. This part of inland Lazio is known for olive groves, mixed farmland and historic hill settlements.
