The Aniene river runs nearby, and Tivoli is the nearest town of size with services and major historic sites including Villa d’Este and Hadrian’s Villa, both UNESCO. The Monti Lucretili Regional Natural Park begins a short distance to the north-west. Rome is the main city for work, rail and airports, but it does not count as a landscape feature here.
