Lido dei pini villino indipendente

The cluster is in the coastal plain south of Rome near the Tyrrhenian shore, with long low sandy coastline around Marina di Ardea and Tor San Lorenzo. The area is part of the Agro Romano, mostly flat and built up in strips between beach settlements, pine groves, fields and roads. The nearest larger urban centre is Rome to the north, and daily life here is tied more to the metropolitan fringe and coast road than to a distinct local landscape. Ardea is an ancient site with remains linked to the Volsci and a historic centre on a tufa rise, but the surroundings within about 15 km are mainly suburban coast and plain.
