Velletri - casa indipendente

The cluster is in the Alban Hills, a volcanic hill area south of Rome. Lake Albano and Lake Nemi are within this zone, and the Parco Regionale dei Castelli Romani covers much of the surrounding landscape. Velletri sits on the outer slopes of the volcanic system, with vineyards, olive groves and wooded hill sections around the town. The nearest larger urban pole is Rome, while within the hills the main nearby centres are the Castelli Romani towns, which provide everyday services and historic town centres. The area is known for wine production, especially around the Castelli Romani and Velletri.
