The nearest ski terrain is the small lift area at Palit above Gressoney, roughly 1 hour 15 minutes by road, with larger Monterosa systems farther on. The nearest sizeable town is Ivrea, which has full services, a railway station and the UNESCO-listed Olivetti industrial city.
