The Orsiera-Rocciavrè Natural Park extends into the upper valley above Coazze. The nearest ski area is at Pian Neiretto in the Forno di Coazze area, a short drive up-valley, with larger lifts in the Susa Valley farther away. Giaveno is the nearest town of size and has the main services for the valley; Turin is reachable down the valley for city-level services and work. The area is known for alpine valley walks, chestnut woods and the mountain sanctuary of the upper Val Sangone at Forno di Coazze.
