Location score 72/100The cluster is in the upper Val Pellice, under the Cottian Alps close to the French border. The Pellice river runs down the valley. This is the valley head for access toward the Conca del Pra and the slopes below Monte Viso on the Piedmont side, with Alpine pasture and steep forested sides around the settled floor. The nearest ski area is Rucas di Bagnolo, a small local station reached in about 45 minutes by road; the larger lifts around Crissolo and the upper Po valley are farther and do not sit inside the immediate landscape. Torre Pellice is the nearest town of some size, with services and the main historical centre of the Waldensian valleys. The area is known for its Waldensian history and for hiking routes into the upper Pellice valley.
