Rustico in San Mauro Torinese

The cluster lies on the eastern side of the Turin hills, with low wooded ridges and cultivated slopes above the Po plain. The Po runs nearby to the south-west, and the area connects into the fluvial landscapes of the Parco del Po piemontese. Chivasso is the nearest larger town, and Turin is close enough to shape daily services, jobs and transport, but the immediate setting is peri-urban hill country rather than open mountain terrain. The area is known locally for hillside vineyards, woodland and the transition from the Turin conurbation to the Po and Monferrato side.
