The Parco Naturale di Colle del Lys lies nearby on the ridge toward the lower valley. The nearest skiing is the small Pian Benot area above Usseglio, roughly half an hour to forty minutes by road depending on the hamlet. Lanzo Torinese is the nearest town of some size in the lower valleys, with rail access, shops and services. This part of the Lanzo valleys is known for alpine pasture, summer walking and small mountain villages rather than a major resort.
