The Parco Naturale di Colle del Lys is within the wider Lanzo area but not at the village itself. The nearest ski terrain is the small Pian Benot area above Usseglio, roughly a 20–30 minute drive depending on the hamlet, with larger lifts much farther away and not part of the immediate landscape. The nearest town of some size is Lanzo Torinese, which has rail access, shops and services; Turin is the main city down-valley. This part of the upper valley is known for alpine pasture, scattered stone hamlets and traditional mountain routes toward the French border passes.
