The nearest ski areas are in the upper Val Chisone around Pragelato and Sestriere, reached by mountain road in roughly 35–50 minutes depending on the lift. This part of the valley is known for alpine woodland, side valleys and the historic route toward the Colle del Sestriere and the French border.
