Pramollo sits in the Pinerolese mountain zone west of Pinerolo, which is the nearest substantial town and has full daily services, a rail link and a notable historic centre. The nearest ski areas are in the upper Val Chisone around Pragelato and Sestriere, roughly an hour or more by road, so they are not part of the immediate landscape. This part of the Torino foothills is known for chestnut woods, pasture and old Waldensian valleys nearby.
