The Po runs nearby to the south-west, and the area connects into the fluvial landscapes of the Parco del Po piemontese. Chivasso is the nearest larger town, and Turin is close enough to shape daily services, jobs and transport, but the immediate setting is peri-urban hill country rather than open mountain terrain.
