The cluster sits in the Ausoni Mountains above the coastal plain, with limestone ridges and forested slopes within the immediate area. It is inside the Monti Aurunci Regional Park, which covers the mountain terrain between the Pontine plain and the Gulf of Gaeta. The nearest coast for daily life is the Tyrrhenian shore around Fondi and Sperlonga, but the village itself is inland in mountain country. Fondi is the nearest substantial town and provides the main shops, services and rail access for the area.
