The Tyrrhenian coast is close, with the beach line of Terracina and the start of the Pontine coast inside the area. The eastern side of Parco Nazionale del Circeo lies within about 15 km, including the coastal dune and wetland belt around Lago di Sabaudia. Terracina is the nearest town of size and has a substantial historic upper town, the Temple of Jupiter Anxur on the hill, a port and full everyday services.
