Galzignano Terme (pd)

The cluster is in the Euganean Hills (Colli Euganei), a compact group of volcanic hills rising out of the plain. The Parco Regionale dei Colli Euganei covers much of the area within reach. Galzignano Terme is part of the Euganean thermal area, known for hot-spring spa facilities and thermal mud treatments. Este and Monselice are the nearest larger historic towns, with walled centres, castles and rail links. Arquà Petrarca, within the Euganean Hills, is listed among I Borghi più belli d’Italia and is associated with Petrarch. The surrounding landscape is a mix of wooded slopes, vineyards, olive groves and cultivated plain.
