The nearest clear named landscape feature is the Colli Euganei Regional Park, which covers much of those hills. Este is the nearest substantial town and has a walled historic centre and the Carrarese castle area. Arquà Petrarca, on the eastern side of the hills, is listed among I Borghi più belli d'Italia. This area is known for vineyards, olive groves on the slopes, and spa towns on the north side of the Euganean Hills farther off.
