Location score 62/100The cluster sits in the southern Padova plain at the edge of the Colli Euganei, with low volcanic hills rising within about 10–15 km around Este, Baone, Calaone and Arquà Petrarca. The nearest clear named landscape feature is the Colli Euganei Regional Park, which covers much of those hills. Este is the nearest substantial town and has a walled historic centre and the Carrarese castle area. Arquà Petrarca, on the eastern side of the hills, is listed among I Borghi più belli d'Italia. This area is known for vineyards, olive groves on the slopes, and spa towns on the north side of the Euganean Hills farther off. Outside the hills, the immediate surroundings are mostly flat cultivated plain.
