The nearest clear named landscape feature is the Colli Euganei Regional Park, which covers much of those hills. Este is the nearest substantial town and has a walled historic centre and the Carrarese castle area. Arquà Petrarca, on the eastern side of the hills, is listed among I Borghi più belli d'Italia.
