Location score 72/100The cluster is in the Apennines, in the upper Ceno valley. The Ceno river runs through Bardi, with wooded ridges and steep valley sides around the town. The area is known for Bardi Castle, a large fortress on a rock above the settlement. Within this part of the valley there are small mountain roads, pasture and woodland typical of the Parma Apennines. Borgo Val di Taro is the nearest larger centre in daily use, with rail access and services. This stretch of the Parma Apennines is also known for porcini mushrooms.
