Casale/cascina, Taglio di Po

The cluster is in the Po Delta, among the branches of the Po and reclaimed flatlands close to the Adriatic. The Po di Venezia and Po di Levante are the defining waterways in this area. Much of the surrounding landscape falls within the Parco Regionale Veneto del Delta del Po. The coast at Boccasette, Scanno Boa and the barrier spits and lagoons of the delta are within the local area. Adria is the nearest larger town, with everyday services and a museum linked to the ancient Etruscan and Greek port history of the area. The area is known for wetlands, fishing, aquaculture and rice and other delta agriculture.
