Casa colonica via Abruzzo, L'Oca, Taglio di Po

The cluster lies in the Po Delta on the Adriatic side, with canals, reclaimed fields, lagoons and fishing-water landscapes around the mouths and branches of the Po. The Po di Goro and the Sacca di Goro are the defining waters within the area. This is part of the Parco del Delta del Po, with wetlands, pinewoods and bird habitats spread across the delta. The nearest town of size is Comacchio, which has services and a historic centre built around canals. The area is known for shellfish farming and fishing, especially the vongola di Goro.
