Casa colonica in Cologna Veneta

This is the eastern Veronese plain between the Adige and the lower Vicenza plain, with flat agricultural land and canals. The nearest town of size is San Bonifacio, which has rail services and the main local shopping and services; Lonigo and Soave are also nearby, with Soave known for its walled centre and wine zone, but outside the immediate landscape. The area is known for arable farming and for rice production around Cologna Veneta, with the town also known locally for mandorlato.
