The nearest skiing is the small area of San Giorgio in Bosco Chiesanuova, roughly an hour by road depending on the exact hamlet. Valdagno is the nearest larger town with secondary schools, supermarkets and hospital services, and Arzignano is the main service and industrial centre lower down the valley. This area is known for chestnut woods, pasture on the higher ground and the stone-built contrade typical of the Lessini.
