This is the southern Vicenza plain between the Berici Hills to the north-west and the lower Euganean Hills to the south-east, with open agricultural land around the town. The Frassine and other minor waterways drain the area toward the Bacchiglione system. The nearest larger towns in daily use are Vicenza, Monselice and Este, which provide rail links, hospitals and full services. The Berici Hills within reach are known for villas, wooded slopes and limestone landscapes, including Villa Saraceno at Agugliaro, a Palladian villa with UNESCO protection as part of the City of Vicenza and the Palladian Villas of the Veneto.
