Location score 74/100The cluster is in the Piccole Dolomiti, with the Carega group immediately west and north of Recoaro and steep prealpine valleys around the upper Agno. The Agno valley runs through the area, and the upper basin is enclosed by limestone ridges and passes such as Pian delle Fugazze. The Parco Naturale Regionale della Lessinia begins nearby to the southwest on the Veronese side of the range. The nearest skiing is the small Recoaro Mille area above the town, reached in about 20 minutes by road, with larger lifts at Folgaria farther away and not part of the immediate landscape. Schio is the nearest larger town down-valley, with rail services, hospitals and the main day-to-day amenities for the upper valley. Recoaro is known for its mineral springs and spa history.
