The Guà River runs through Sarego and Lonigo. The Berici Hills are the main nearby landscape feature, with vineyards, woods and scattered villas on low limestone ridges; the Euganean Hills are farther away and do not define the immediate setting. Lonigo is the nearest town of size, with a substantial historic centre and everyday services.
