This stretch of the valley is known for rafting and kayaking on the Brenta and for hang gliding and paragliding from Monte Grappa above Bassano del Grappa. Monte Grappa and the Cima Grappa area are within about 15 km and form the main mountain backdrop. Bassano del Grappa is the nearest substantial town, with a full service centre and a historic core on the Brenta. The area is also tied to First World War sites on Monte Grappa.
