The Posina torrent runs through the valley. This is the southeastern edge of the Piccole Dolomiti group, with peaks such as Monte Pasubio and Monte Novegno within the local mountain setting. The Pasubio area is known for First World War military roads, tunnels and fortifications. The nearest larger town is Schio, which provides the main services and rail access for this part of the mountains.
