The Parco Naturale Regionale della Lessinia lies to the southeast beyond the nearest ridges, but not in the immediate valley. The nearest ski area is Recoaro Mille in the Recoaro Terme area, roughly 20–30 minutes by road from Valdagno. Schio is the nearest larger town, and Vicenza is the main provincial city for services, rail connections, and major monuments. Recoaro Terme, a short drive up the valley, is known for its mineral springs and for access to the Piccole Dolomiti around the Carega group. The area is known for its industrial valley settlements and for mountain walking in the upper valley toward Campogrosso and the Piccole Dolomiti.
