The Leogra valley runs through the comune, and the upper valley is tied to the road and military landscape of the Strada delle 52 Gallerie on Monte Pasubio. Part of the local mountain area falls within the Parco Naturale Regionale della Lessinia to the south-western side of the wider zone. The nearest substantial town is Schio, which has the main services, rail access and a larger historic and industrial centre in the valley. The area is known for First World War mountain sites and for hiking in the Pasubio group.
