The Brenta runs just east of Nove, and Bassano del Grappa is the nearest substantial town, with a walled historic centre, the Ponte degli Alpini and services of a small city. Monte Grappa rises within this radius as the dominant massif to the north-east, with wartime memorial sites on the mountain and road access up to the high slopes; the main ski lifts of the Grappa area are around Camposolagna and the Monte Grappa sector, roughly 30–45 minutes by road depending on the access point. The area is known for ceramics: Nove is one of Italy’s established pottery centres, and Bassano is associated with grappa and the Brenta valley routes toward the Alps.
