Rustico in Lugo di Vicenza

The cluster sits at the foot of the Prealps, with Monte Summano and the first ridges of the Pasubio-Little Dolomites area within this radius. The Astico valley is the main local landform here, with the Astico river running north-south through the area. Thiene is the nearest town of size, with a substantial historic centre, services and rail connections. Schio is also nearby and is the main gateway town toward the upper valleys below Pasubio. This part of the Vicenza foothills is known for mixed farming on the plain edge and for access into the prealpine valleys of Alto Vicentino.
