Terratetto plurifamiliare in Venafro

The cluster sits in the upper Volturno valley with the Mainarde mountains and the Abruzzo-Lazio-Molise Apennines close to the north and east. The Volturno river runs through this area. The Parco Regionale dell'Olivo di Venafro is at Venafro, and the Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise begins within this radius on the Mainarde side. Roccaraso-Aremogna is the main ski area in reach, about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes by road. Venafro is the nearest town of size; it has a substantial historic centre, a castle, Roman remains and the National Museum of Castel Pandone nearby. The area is known for olive growing, especially the local Aurina olive and historic olive groves.
