Terratetto plurifamiliare via Calvario, Montefalcone nel Sannio

The area is in the hills between the Trigno and Biferno basins, with the first ridges of the Apennine interior visible inland. The Trigno valley is nearby and the Adriatic coast around San Salvo and Vasto is the nearest coast, but it is outside the immediate landscape. Within about 15 km the setting is mostly cultivated hills, wooded slopes and small hill villages of the inner Campobasso province. The nearest town of some size is Guglionesi, which has a historic centre and everyday services; farther out, Termoli is the main coastal town for rail links and larger services. This part of Molise is known for mixed farming, olive groves and hilltop settlements.
