The Po plain landscape dominates here, with fields, drainage works and scattered hamlets rather than a named hill or mountain setting. Verona is farther away and matters for access, not for the immediate landscape. The area is known for agriculture and for the historic wetland-reclamation landscape of the lower Veronese plain.
