Terratetto plurifamiliare in Firenzuola

The cluster is in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. The Santerno valley runs through this area, and the Firenzuola territory includes the mountain landscapes around the Giogo and Futa passes. Part of the area falls within the Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona e Campigna National Park. The nearest ski slopes are on Monte La Fine and at Campigna on the Romagna side, roughly about 1 to 1.5 hours by road depending on the exact hamlet. Firenzuola is a small mountain comune with basic services and a stone-built historic centre; Borgo San Lorenzo and Imola are the nearest larger towns for broader shopping, rail links and hospitals. The area is known for mountain pasture, woods, sandstone building stone known as pietra serena, and for the First World War and Gothic Line pass roads around Futa.
