Terratetto plurifamiliare in Atri

The town sits on low hills at the edge of the Abruzzo Apennines (Apennine foothills). The Adriatic Sea and the northern Abruzzo coast lie to the east; nearby coastal towns include Pineto and Roseto degli Abruzzi. There is no national park inside a 15 km radius; the Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park and the higher Apennine massifs are further inland. No ski lifts are within 15 km; the nearest ski areas are on the Gran Sasso massif well inland. Atri is a small historic hill town with a cathedral (Duomo), a medieval centre and archaeological remains. The provincial capital Teramo and larger service centres lie inland, while the coastal towns provide beaches, seasonal tourism and rail links. The surrounding countryside is mixed agriculture: vineyards, olive groves and horticulture are common.
