Location score 40/100This is the Bormida plain around Alessandria, with flat cultivated land and low hills beginning a few kilometres away toward the Monferrato and Langhe side of the province. The Bormida river runs through the area and joins the Tanaro nearby, with a landscape of river plain, fields, poplar lines and scattered villages. Acqui Terme is the nearest town of note, with a historic centre and thermal baths.
