Feltre itself is the main town nearby, with a walled historic centre on a hill and regular services. The Belluno Dolomites are part of the UNESCO Dolomites World Heritage Site. The area is known for mountain pasture, forested slopes and the transition from the Veneto plain to the Dolomite valleys.
