The nearest ski lifts are the small facilities at Rucas near Bagnolo Piemonte, roughly 20–30 minutes by road, while the larger lifts of Crissolo are about 35–45 minutes away. Saluzzo is the nearest town of size, with a substantial historic centre and services, and Pinerolo is the nearest larger urban centre. The area is known for orchards and mixed Alpine foothill farming, with Bagnolo Piemonte nearby also known for stone quarrying.
