The Adamello Brenta Nature Park begins farther west, outside the immediate 15 km landscape. The nearest town of size is Cles, which has the main services and a substantial historic centre for the valley. Ski lifts at the Mendola/Passo Mendola area and on the Altopiano della Predaia are the nearest local options, reached by mountain road in roughly half an hour depending on the hamlet.
