Villetta a schiera ristrutturata

This is low inland Molise: open farmed hills and small valleys between the lower Biferno basin and the first inland rises toward the Molise interior. The Biferno river corridor is the main geographic feature in the wider immediate area. Larino is the nearest historic town of size, with a cathedral and a Roman amphitheatre. Termoli on the Adriatic is the nearest larger centre for daily services and rail connections, but it lies beyond the immediate landscape. The area is known mainly for cereal farming, olive groves, and small hill villages of the Frentani countryside.
