Palazzo - Edificio in Gricignano di Aversa

This is the flat Campanian plain between Naples and Caserta, with dense farming and continuous urban development around the settlements. The Volturno plain lies to the north, but within the immediate area the main lived landscape is lowland built-up countryside rather than a distinct natural feature. Aversa is a substantial town with services and a historic centre, and Caserta and Naples are the nearest large cities for major transport, shopping and cultural sites. The area is known for the agro aversano plain and for mozzarella di bufala production in the wider Caserta lowlands.
