Ponte Marmora: immobile di grande metratura con giardino

The cluster is in the upper Valle Maira in the Cottian Alps. The Maira river runs through the valley. This is mountain country with narrow valley floors, larch woods, pasture and high side valleys; the road continues upvalley toward Acceglio and the alpine passes near the French border. The nearest ski area is at Maddalena / Rucas di Bagnolo farther away outside the local radius, so there are no major lift systems in the immediate 15 km area. Dronero is the nearest town of some size downvalley, with everyday shops and services. The valley is known for hiking, small stone hamlets and Occitan culture.
