Villa in Cantone Cerreto, 49, Porta Milano - Nuova Casale - S. M. del Tempio, Casale Monferrato,

This is the flat Po plain on the south bank of the Po River. The Po and its riparian woods are the main landscape feature here, with the Parco del Po Piemontese around the river corridor. Casale Monferrato is the nearest town of size, with a substantial historic centre and services. The lower Monferrato hills begin just south of Casale, with vineyard country and hill towns such as Cella Monte within roughly this radius. The area is known for rice and other plain agriculture near the river, and for wine on the nearby Monferrato slopes.
