Villa in Casale Valle Cochi, 21, Silvano d'Orba,

The cluster sits in the rolling hills of the lower Alto Monferrato on the edge of the Orba valley. The Orba river runs through this part of the province. Within about 15 km are the wine hills around Ovada, a small town with services and rail connections, and the area is known for Dolcetto di Ovada vineyards. The Ligurian Apennines rise not far to the south, but the stronger mountain scenery is outside the immediate radius.
