Casa indipendente 11 locali, 160 m² in Via Poggio Croce null

The cluster sits in a steep-sided mountain valley of the Ligurian Alps (the Maritime/Ligurian mountain system). The Argentina torrent (Torrente Argentina) runs through the valley network around Mendatica. The area around Mendatica is covered by mixed beech and chestnut woods and small mountain pasture and woodland mosaics typical of inland Liguria. Parts of the surrounding high ground are inside or adjacent to the Parco Naturale Regionale delle Alpi Liguri (regional natural park). Long-distance mountain routes for hiking, including sections of the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, cross the nearby ridges. There are no major downhill ski lifts within about 15 km; winter sports in the immediate area are limited to walking or small local facilities. The nearest hill towns with basic services are nearby mountain communes such as Triora (historic centre and local museums) and other small valleyside villages that provide shops, cafés and municipal services; larger coastal towns and ports lie beyond the mountain ridge. Road access is by narrow, winding mountain roads connecting valleys to the coast and the provincial road network. The local economy and landscape have a history of small-scale agriculture, chestnut cultivation and forestry rather than large commercial farming.
