Terratetto unifamiliare in Giffone

The area sits in the lower hills on the Tyrrhenian side of Calabria, with the first slopes of the Aspromonte inland to the east. The river system here is the Mesima valley, with mixed farmed land, olive groves and wooded slopes around the settlements. Parco Nazionale dell'Aspromonte begins farther inland and is not within the immediate 15 km landscape. The nearest larger centre is Gioia Tauro on the plain, with port, rail connections and everyday services; Rosarno is another service town nearby. This part of Calabria is known for olive growing and for the thermal waters of Galatro.
