Villa a Schiera 169 m² a Località Boffalora, Gazzola (PC)

The cluster is in the Val Trebbia, with the first ridges of the Ligurian Apennines around it. The Trebbia river runs through the area, with gravel banks and a broad valley floor near Travo. Farther up the valley, within this part of the inland Piacenza area, there are wooded slopes, sandstone and ophiolite outcrops, and a sequence of small historic villages. Bobbio is the nearest town of note in the valley, with a substantial historic centre and the abbey complex of San Colombano. The area is known in Emilia for the Trebbia valley landscape and for outdoor use of the river in summer.
